Founded in 1984, the company João Mansur Architecture Design Art initially focused primarily Interior Design, having performed in just two years over 50 different projects.

In 1988 was considered by the specialized press as one of the "Top 10" offices of the country. In the same year with the growth of the company opened for the corporate world being hired by the company Giorgio Armani for their entry in Brazil.

Since then several corporate contracts were signed, such as restaurants, hotels, shops, nightclubs, consolidating segments Architecture and Design within the company.
In the early 1990s, the office was already searched and attended several clients nationwide, and in the beginning of this decade, the expansion becomes international with the opening of the first branch in New York.

In 1995, seeing an opportunity in the business of construction and mergers performs upscale condominiums in Florida, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. Some years later with the completion of these projects, the firm takes a significant step in Europe, having as its main base in Lisbon where he served retrofit projects in centuries-old buildings, plus the pioneering project of the first Flat Service in Portugal, in the town of Cascais.
In this period of great works in the United States and Europe have been several publications and awards, in Brazil and abroad.
